We’re Tess Falk and Abiola Washington, co-owners of @PEACE Massage & Bodywork in Orlando, Florida. As Licensed Massage Therapists, Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioners, and now proud Master Myoskeletal Therapists (MMTs), we bring a combined 34+ years of experience to our practice. We’re also professional members of the American Massage Therapy Association and are passionate about helping our clients live more stress-free, pain-free lives.
Tess first discovered Erik Dalton and the Freedom From Pain Institute in 2009 and was immediately drawn to the work. We both took a local MAT workshop with Paul Kelly, and after the hands-on workshop experience, we decided to attend Erik’s Pain Relief in Paradise retreat in Costa Rica in 2022. After learning from Erik and experiencing the depth and effectiveness of MAT, we both knew we wanted to complete the entire MMT program. After two years of studying MAT through courses and workshops, we returned to Costa Rica in 2024 to officially graduate as Master Myoskeletal Therapists, personally receiving our certificates from Erik himself.
MAT has given us the tools to clearly assess and address the root causes of pain and dysfunction, building confidence in our ability to communicate effectively with clients, educate them about their bodies, and, when needed, refer them to trusted professionals. The techniques are body-saving, seamlessly integrate into our treatment flow, and consistently deliver measurable, lasting results.
Since integrating MAT into our practice, we’ve been able to increase our rates and carve out a niche within the medical community. The therapist relationships we’ve built through these referrals have expanded our referral network and helped us grow as professionals. Our clients frequently comment on how much more balanced and pain-free they feel after treatment, and they keep referring friends and family.
@PEACE is more than just massage. We are committed to using the most effective modalities to provide focused, individualized bodywork for both preventative and rehabilitative care, and MAT plays a big role in that mission.
