When I left the military in 2019, I was considered 100% disabled; I was so physically broken that I struggled to even walk up stairs. After physical therapy, chiropractic care, and steroids, the only solution that truly stuck was orthopedic massage. Many complex issues have been resolved through this work to the point that doctors in my area, doctors I’ve never met now recognize my name from their patients’ stories and have started referring patients to me. Since integrating MAT into my practice, I have quickly became my town’s go-to massage therapist. I’m now addicted to learning, and to teaching this incredible craft.
