Nathan Wooten

Nathan Wooten is considered by many to be the top massage therapist in Bow. We’re delighted that he decided to pursue certification as a Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT). Achieving this certification, one of the highest standards for a massage professional, is not easy. It takes a burning desire to get results for your clients and a great deal of commitment. You can find out more about him below. He can help you resolve pain problems that many other allied health professions struggle with, including back pain, injuries, and headaches. If you’re looking for massage therapy in Bow, give Nathan a call.

I started out in bodywork offering Reiki and sound techniques for 20 and 8 years, respectively. After a spinal injury and fusion surgery, I began searching for something that worked a little deeper and less subtly. I landed on massage therapy, attended NEIWH, and earned my NH state license in 2022.
A friend from school, who had also recently received her massage license, asked if I wanted to check out a 3-day Erik Dalton Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT) continuing education workshop nearby. I had some chronic pain issues and love to learn, so I was interested. Once we started practicing and I felt the work, I was immediately hooked.
My practice was very new and small when I began learning MAT. Every time I take a class online or attend an in-person workshop, I learn something new that brings a particular client to mind or is immediately applicable in my practice. My repeat booking rate jumped from the low 80s to the high 90s and has stayed there. My clients started reporting longer-lasting or even complete relief from chronic pain I had been chasing before MAT and it blew my mind.
MAT is incredibly effective! I feel like I now have the tools to help any client. The classes are easy to complete at your own pace. It took about 2 years, but I know massage therapists who have done it faster. There’s a lot of information packed into the workshops and classes, so don’t get overwhelmed. Taking a bunch of notes and trying to pick one or two techniques at a time to practice and introduce to clients worked well for me. The community of people passionate about this work is truly amazing. Reach out, join the Facebook groups—I’ve made lifelong friends, and there are always a few people willing to talk about the techniques if you’re struggling. Do it!
