I first saw Erik Dalton’s videos 12 years ago while I was working in another industry. I was dreaming about changing my job, following my passion and getting qualified in the health sector to be able to help people and make a difference in my community. I qualified as a physio in my home country Romania and when I moved to the UK I found there is a different system, therefore I had to complete additional courses in order to get into the system. So, I started with Sports / Remedial Massage and worked as a soft tissue therapist in a physiotherapy clinic. Working in the clinic I found out that soft tissue work and musculoskeletal techniques are very effective part of a rehab process, looking at the person from holistic point of view, rather than one part in the body. I was able to help with a wide range of conditions such as injuries, repetitive strain, emotional tensions, digestive issues, mental health, breathing dysfunction and most of the clients were very happy with the outcome. I was planning to train with the best teachers in the world and Erik was on my list. After I mastered the foundation, by learning about muscles, joints, nerves fascia, and other concepts I was looking to find a way to integrate all this knowledge and learn advanced techniques from Erik. I found Aubrey Gowing is teaching these amazing workshops in Europe and so I decided to try to see and feel on my skin these methods. I was amazed with the quality of information and the results I experienced, which led me to enroll in the Master Myoskeletal Therapist program. I am very happy I have learned this unique hands-on bodywork system designed to restore function, relieve pain, rebalance and reeducate the body. I would like to thank to Susan Findlay who opened my eyes, Julia Oyele who organized the seminars in London, Aubrey for his amazing teaching skills, Kim for supporting with the online learning process and Erik for creating this amazing concept. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is looking to learn hands-on pain-rehab techniques, to understand WHY they work, and HOW to change the brain’s mind about your client’s pain… Best, George Sirbu
