I‘ve been doing massage since 1998. I’ve mostly worked in ski areas at spas but also for some clinics and a couple of chiropractors. I moved around A LOT practicing in different states including a day spa in Alaska and a hot spring in New Mexico. In 2021 I went full time into private practice. Years ago, my friend said that I should study with Erik Dalton. After getting into full time private practice, I felt I really needed to ‘up my game’ as there are a lot of accomplished bodyworkers where I live. I like that MAT is a comprehensive and holistic approach to bodywork. Almost any pain and injury issue that I can think of is addressed in the program. I like that the techniques are easy on my body. I love that any client condition I encounter can be easily referenced in Erik’s books and manuals that accompany the eCourses. Studying Erik Dalton’s myoskeletal techniques has given me so much more confidence as a therapist to deal with client’s pain issues and find effective ways to treat them. My clients LOVE the results especially the neck work. It really has revolutionized my practice and has steered me with confidence into the kind of work that I really want to do… pain management.
