Master Myoskeletal Therapist Spotlight: David Ferrarini, MMT | Bedford, New Hampshire

David Ferrarini wasn’t looking for a new direction in his massage therapy career. He was simply trying to help a client who had been living with chronic pain for years.

In 2017, a woman who had experienced a car accident approached David after seeking help from numerous healthcare professionals. Still searching for relief, she challenged him to find something that might work.

David turned to an online video demonstrating an Erik Dalton technique for addressing sacral alignment. After explaining what he had discovered and receiving her consent, he applied the technique.

Her reaction was unforgettable.

“I don’t know what that is, but I don’t have any pain anymore!” she exclaimed.

That moment changed David’s professional journey.

“I wanted to understand not only how these techniques worked, but why they worked,” he recalls.

Already a practicing massage therapist since graduating from Hesser College in 2013, David began exploring Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques® (MAT) more seriously. In 2018, he purchased Erik Dalton’s foundational training bundle, followed by the advanced program.

What fascinated him wasn’t simply the effectiveness of individual techniques. It was the emphasis on anatomy, biomechanics, assessment, and understanding how different structures influence one another.

Today, David owns MyoSàge Wellness in Bedford, New Hampshire, where his massage therapy practice emphasizes individualized care.

Rather than relying on predetermined routines, he considers each client’s history, movement patterns, and potential contributors to discomfort.

“MAT gives me additional tools to better understand those differences and adapt my work accordingly,” David explains.

His broader education in Reiki, sound therapy, and breathwork complements this whole body perspective.

Earning his Master Myoskeletal Therapist® (MMT) certification has further strengthened his commitment to thoughtful assessment, clinical reasoning, and helping clients understand their bodies.

David believes effective massage therapy requires more than technical knowledge. It also demands curiosity, compassion, and the willingness to continue learning.

“Stay curious and never become so comfortable in what you know that you stop questioning what you don’t.”

His advice reflects the experience that first led him to MAT: meaningful professional growth often begins with asking better questions.

Congratulations to David Ferrarini on earning his MMT certification. We proudly welcome him to the Master Myoskeletal Therapist community and celebrate his dedication to compassionate, individualized bodywork.
