I became an LMT in 2003 after graduating from Jean’s School of Therapy Technology Inc. in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Then in 2005, I attended my first in-person Erik Dalton workshop in Oklahoma City. I absolutely loved it and knew I wanted to learn more. In my next workshop with Erik Dalton, I decided to purchase the complete library of MAT home study courses for the MMT program. In 2022 I completed the requirements for MMT certification and received my MMT certificate.
As I reflect back on my experience I realize how much I have learned and grown on my journey to achieving MMT certification. Not only did I learn effective techniques I also learned the importance of listening, observing, and assessing. Using MAT in my massage practice has given me a higher level of skills as a therapist and its been a game changer for my business! My clients love the results! I feel great every time I get a referral from doctors, Physical Therapists, and even other massage therapists. I’m grateful to Erik Dalton for developing such a unique and comprehensive program.
I’ve also learned that bodywork is a constant process of learning and developing. Becoming a Master Myoskeletal Therapist has definitely been one of my greatest achievements in my Therapeutic Massage business!
