Originally from Venezuela, I am now the owner of Silvana Wunstell Therapeutic Massage in Houma, Louisiana. As a member of American Massage Therapy Association and board certified through NCBTMB, I am the second massage therapist in the state of Louisiana to become a Master Myoskeletal Therapist.
This was a big accomplishment for me, but with effort, dedication and discipline anything is possible. I love helping people feel better both physically and emotionally and I also love learning.
I first heard about MAT several years ago from one of my massage teachers who once commented “If you really want to know more about the body and further your career, check out Erik Dalton.” So, I began reading Erik’s blogs and watching Myoskeletal Alignment Technique videos and finally decided I needed to be part of this amazing group of therapists.
In 2014 I attended Erik’s “Pain Management in Paradise” Costa Rica Retreat and it truly was a life and career changing experience for me. My Myoskeletal Therapy education has taught me to give my clients hope, faith and belief. The results are amazing and it’s so rewarding to be able to use my hands to help people with pain and injury problems.
I am truly appreciative to the entire Dalton team for opening my eyes to see that it’s possible to eliminate most strain patterns and live pain free… without hurting myself. Proud to be a MMT!
