My massage experience began when I was a young child. My mother had rib pain due to a hyperkyphotic thoracic spine and needed relief between chiropractic appointments. Then in 1997 as a cosmetologist doing facials, manicures, and pedicures, I became interested in reflexology and human anatomy. Over time, I began noticing how massage increased the physical and emotional quality of life for my clients. In 2002 I met David Clinger, an original teaching assistant and later a teacher for Erik Dalton’s Freedom From Pain Institute. His approach to bodywork changed my whole way of thinking about how faulty movement patterns can trigger muscle and joint pain. Erik Dalton’s Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques has turned me into a bodywork nerd who enjoys analyzing logically and thinking outside the box. The 210-hour Master Myoskeletal Therapist program gave me drive to never give up hope of restoring functional mobility and pain-free lives for my clients. My treatments are always the way I learned; every touch I give has Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques in it! For 20+ years I have been researching and experiencing the benefits of holistic health, massage, and working in Home Healthcare. I am ecstatic and grateful to have attended the 10th Oklahoma City Annual Workshop to receive my certification, meet Erik, his most valued friends/followers and teachers. I am ready for the future in all of the ways this will bring blessings to help others!
