Erik Dalton’s work helped change my life. I enrolled in massage school to help my personal training clients with movement and pain issues yet I kept thinking, “Why do people have pain? How does the body heal?” My first training with Erik was in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2007. He spent the weekend explaining and demonstrating how structure and function are related and can be altered. Each technique used “before” and “after” models from the class and I soon realized this was what I had been looking for! I started to use MAT in my practice right away. After three months of applying Erik’s methods in my practice, my schedule was booked!
Erik’s courses are both challenging and fun! The textbook for each course is well-written and has amazing graphics. Erik’s “Dynamic Body Exploring Form Expanding Function” is a treasure! The course handouts are also top notch and his videos helped me put his methods into action. Costa Rica’s week-long workshop was fun and well organized and really helped deepen my understanding of what massage can do for pain and dysfunction. Erik’s teachings have made me a more confident therapist and changed the lives of so many of my clients. So, after eighteen years of full-time bodywork practice, I am finally a Master Myoskeletal Therapist! I thank you and your wonderful staff, Erik!
