Based out of Long Island, I began my education at the New York College of Health Professions. From the start, I was driven to seek out educators who challenged and inspired me the most. Whether it was anatomy, neurology, or technique classes, my goal was to learn as much as I could from the most passionate instructors I could find.
With the strong foundation I received, I was hired right out of school in 2008 at an independently owned spa. They encouraged me to go beyond generic sessions and supported my interest in incorporating real assessments, stretching, trigger point work, and blending modalities to meet each client’s unique needs.
Motivated to grow as a licensed massage therapist, I later joined a physical therapy and chiropractic office. When the doctor retired and the physical therapy side closed, I asked if I could reach out to the clients I had been working with—and in 2013, I opened my first location. I’ve been in private practice ever since.
I’ve continued my studies in orthopedic massage, deep tissue, prenatal, and myofascial techniques, to name a few. In 2025, I earned my Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT) certification through the Freedom From Pain Institute.
I discovered MAT through a fellow LMT who told me about a video that reminded them of my style. They sent me a link to Erik Dalton demonstrating a technique, and I immediately started researching his work. When I found the MAT website, I was hooked. I felt seen, understood and like I had finally found someone who could help guide me to be my best.
What I love most about MAT is the focus, the intent, the science—and above all, the results. The techniques flow seamlessly into one another, and clients love how they feel.
I’ve seen firsthand how powerful these techniques can be. Clients who couldn’t walk to their car without pain are now going to the gym or gardening again. Others who had given up hobbies are back doing what they love. One client who feared standing for too long was able to dance with their daughter at her wedding. People often come to me when nothing else had worked and this did.
My advice: begin today. Take an online course and get started. You’ll begin using these techniques right away and see the difference. When you can, take an in-person class. You’ll find likeminded people kind, fun, and supportive. People who want to see you thrive. The instructors care deeply about the program, about massage, and about helping you grow.
