If you’re looking for massage therapy in Fort Worth, Becca Frick is the massage therapist to see. We’re delighted that she decided to pursue certification as a Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT). Achieving this certification, one of the highest standards for a massage professional, is not easy. It takes a burning desire to get results for your clients and a great deal of commitment. You can read a little bit about her journey below. We know you’ll be in great hands when you book an appointment with Becca. For massage therapy in Fort Worth, contact Becca. The links are below.

I started my massage journey in 2006. I always knew I wanted to focus more on the medical side of the field, so I got my medical certification in massage therapy right away. That allowed me to work in clinical settings and chiropractor offices, but I never felt I had the autonomy I wanted. I also got tired of doing the same massage on the same people week after week, wondering why I wasn’t getting better results.
I knew I needed a change, but I wasn’t sure what that would be. After some internet searching, I found Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, the only system I could find that truly targeted the root of the problem. I read that MAT could help resolve long-term issues and produce results in the very first session. I decided to try just one course to see what it was all about. That one course was an absolute game-changer for me. My only regret is that I waited so long to dive in.
I love MAT because we live in an “instant gratification” society. Now, during an intake, after just a few questions, I know exactly which technique to use. Issues I had been working on for years were suddenly resolving in a single session. I also love that MAT requires absolutely no straining or pushing.
MAT has changed my practice by giving me the ability to explain to clients, on a level they can understand, what I’m doing and why. I can test a client, apply MAT, retest, and see visible results right away. I’m getting more referrals now than I ever did before my MMT certification, and that says everything.
Do not pass go, do not collect one hundred dollars, invest in your future with MAT! One of the biggest complaints I hear from colleagues is how physically drained and exhausted they are. I was that tired, under appreciated, underpaid, burned-out practitioner. Don’t be that person. Whether you just graduated or you’re a seasoned professional, I encourage you to dive into the world of MAT!
