I graduated from New York College of Health Professions in August 2015 and spent eight years working in corporate massage spas. I was quickly promoted to Lead Therapist at every location, taking on roles like trainer and manager for other massage therapists. In 2020, when the pandemic led to layoffs, I shifted my focus to medical spas, where I refined my skills, specializing in neck and shoulder conditions. In February 2024, I opened my own practice, Touched By A Rose, in my hometown of Lynbrook, NY.
In January 2024, I discovered Erik Dalton’s MAT techniques while working at a medical spa. After watching his free videos and applying the techniques with amazing results, I knew I had to dive deeper. I enrolled in the MMT program, attended three in-person workshops and completed all 210 course hours in just one year!
I’m passionate about education—for myself and my clients. My clients often comment on the lasting pain relief they experience and appreciate my dedication to learning new techniques.
When I first saw Erik’s techniques, I was worried that my small size might limit me. Then during my first workshop, Tammy, one of Erik’s MAT educators—who is also small—demonstrated how to perform a Torso Twist on a larger person and this gave me confidence that I could do the same. If you’re interested in learning MAT and becoming an MMT don’t let your size hold you back.
MAT has been transformative for my practice. I love how seamlessly it integrates into my sessions and how quickly clients experience relief. Hearing clients say their pain is reduced or gone is the most rewarding part of my work.
