From an early age, movement and rhythm shaped my life. Playing soccer at five and picking up drumsticks at eight gave me both a happy place and a sanctuary. I didn’t realize then how these two passions would eventually converge into my life’s purpose.
After graduating at the top of my class from the Pensacola School of Massage Therapy in 2017, I dove into the spa industry in our tourist-driven beach community. While I worked with thousands of clients, I felt something was missing. The spa environment wasn’t where I could make the impact I wanted, and I noticed most of my clients needed more specific, effective treatments.
My introduction to Erik Dalton’s Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT) came through a PhysioKinetix workshop with Paul Kelly in Pensacola. A month later, I attended a 2-day Prone, Supine, and Sideline workshop in West Palm Beach with Tammy McCue. That experience sparked my passion for MAT. I went home, purchased the entire online educational bundle, and spent two years immersing myself in this incredible program of brain-based bodywork.
In December 2024, I attended the 25th annual “Pain Free in Paradise” retreat in Costa Rica. Learning directly from Erik Dalton and working alongside top massage professionals and teaching assistants was a dream come true. It was the perfect experience to complete my journey to becoming a Master Myoskeletal Therapist.
Earning my MMT certification has completely transformed how I approach bodywork. MAT is the most effective and efficient modality I’ve encountered. Its integration of movement and rhythm creates a powerful recipe for healing discomfort and restoring harmony in the body. I’m excited to bring this work to every client I serve!
