As the first MMT in Canada, I know my patients are appreciating it. I’m forever grateful that my massage college instructor, Lisa Mousseau DC, suggested I pursue this MMT program. Myoskeletal Therapy has proven to be the most practical training I’ve taken for helping people feel better and perform their best, and is the basis for everything I do.
I tend to go “All In,” with my careers and other pursuits, often doing much more than is required. I was awarded “Top Student” honors in massage school, and I’ve had more training in a couple years than most therapists get in their entire career. MAT training is among the most useful that I’ve experienced. I’ve had great success Integrating MAT into my therapy sessions and I’ve introduced MAT specific treatments. I continue to see impressive results with even first time challenges (such as severe scoliosis and migraine headaches), as well as standard fare (shoulders, backs, and hips). These successes continue to enhance my passion for the practice.
As Erik Dalton said at the Oklahoma City event in 2018: “Knowledge is Within Everyone’s Scope of Practice.” I whole-heartedly agree…
