I received my massage therapy license in 1990 from the state of Florida and completed my Rolfing training at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado in 1994. One of the senior Rolfing instructors told our class one day that we really ought to look into Erik Dalton’s work, it could help us resolve the complex back and neck problems we were bound to run into. I took that to heart and have been incorporating Erik Dalton’s work into my Rolfing practice for about 19 years.
MAT techniques are extremely practical and can be applied to the kinds of problems we see every day in a regular practice. They can be used immediately, even on a client’s first visit, and people are often impressed by results that go far beyond typical massage.
