Myoskeletal Alignment work has revolutionized my approach to massage therapy. It has solidified and integrated all the knowledge and skills I have acquired over the past 17 years, which encompass clinical and orthopedic massage, soft tissue work, myofascial release, corrective exercise, activation techniques, structural integration, and neuromuscular concepts.
I was drawn to myoskeletal alignment work because it is a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to pain management. It focuses on identifying and correcting the underlying asymmetries and patterns in the body that lead to pain and dysfunction. Erik Dalton’s work is constantly evolving as he incorporates the latest research findings into his teaching. This allows us as myoskeletal alignment therapists to keep up to date with evolving information and utilize the most effective techniques available.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge of myoskeletal alignment work with clients and other bodyworkers. I believe it is essential for us to understand how to create optimal change and improvements for our clients efficiently. I am grateful to Erik and his staff for their dedication to advancing the field of massage therapy. Their work has helped me become a more effective and knowledgeable therapist.
