MYOSKELETAL ALIGNMENT TECHNIQUES® CLINICAL REASONING FOR NECK & BACK PAIN (24CE)
Clinical reasoning is essential in advancing your massage skills to the next level. Learn the importance of clinical reasoning and how to integrate this approach into your practice to better assess and treat neck and back pain for more effective treatment outcomes.
In this three day workshop, you will learn:
- Clinical reasoning to assess and correct imbalances in the body
- Head-to-toe assessments for the whole body
- Decompression techniques for joints, muscles and ligaments
- Neck and back routines
- The “Deep 6” external rotators routine
- Nerve Mobilization techniques
- Thoracic spine and rib cage mobilization
Learn to assess and correct:
- Facet joint syndrome
- Cervical spine restrictions
- Greater trochanteric bursitis
- Radial and ulnar nerve pain
- Back spasms
- Thoracic outlet syndrome

Upon successful completion of this workshop, you will earn CE hours for your bodywork licensure, recognized by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) and most State Licensing Boards. You will have also taken a step toward completing your Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT)® Certification.
YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Kathleen Benanti is a Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT)® and Certified Ergonomics Specialist (CES). Her formal education in research science provides her the unique ability to understand and incorporate current findings and best practices into workshops. Kathleen has a unique ability to break down and disseminate complex information into an easy to understand format. In addition, she feels the best learning environment should be fun, relaxed and never short of snacks and caffeine.

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event you should need to cancel your registration for a MAT workshop, the Freedom From Pain Institute will allow you to apply your registration to another MAT workshop with the same educator within one year of the original training start date. If you cancel within 30 days prior to the workshop start date a $50 admin fee will apply. There are no refunds. The price of the workshop is subject to change.
