When my career path changed, I decided to enter massage school and I haven’t looked back since. Two years in, I started feeling bored with the basic skills I’d learned in massage therapy. Then one day, I was flipping through my ABMP Massage magazine and saw Erik Dalton demoing his Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques. I knew that was next level.
I dove into MAT and started learning everything I could. The dynamic, powerful knowledge being shared lit a fire in me. It was taught in a way I could actually learn and want to use. The more I studied, the more confident I became and the more I could help my clients understand their own bodies. The results were amazing. Their pain and dysfunction were improving exponentially, and I felt like a true bodyworker at last.
Fast-forward to now: I’ve been in massage therapy for 20 years, and I’m still loving the work. I’m proud to be the owner/operator of Mindful Massage & Bodywork LLC in Vandalia, OH. I recently completed my courses and earned my Master Myoskeletal Therapist designation.
