Over 25 years ago, I found myself searching for a career to feed my soul and fill my passion for helping others. I certainly found that in the field of massage and bodywork. I graduated class of 1997 valedictorian from the New York Institute of Massage. Shortly after graduating, in 1998 I opened a private practice in Hamburg, NY. Throughout the years I have trained and worked with some of the top educators in the field of massage, including Erik Dalton. I took my first MAT workshop right here in my local city of Buffalo, NY with one of Erik’s educators, Tammy McCue. Immediately after the training I began to use the Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques in my massage practice. The feedback from my clients was so positive I decided to journey into becoming a certified Master Myoskeletal Therapist. I jumped right in and purchased the entire eCourse bundle and then completed most of my hands-on MAT education in workshops with Tammy and Nate Fay.
After completing the home study program, I was ready to go to the Oklahoma City workshop to meet and learn from Erik Dalton. It was perfect timing too because I was ready to complete my hands-on MAT workshop training hours for MMT certification. It was at the OKC workshop that I received my MMT Certificate from Erik himself! What a fantastic experience it was to be in the company of over 250 therapists and top educators! I have since been honored to assist Tammy McCue in a couple of workshops, helping other therapists on their journey to learn and master these Myoskeletal Techniques.
