Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques®
Dalton's "Dirty Dozen" for Nerve, Tendon, and Joint Pain
(16 CE / 2 Day Workshop)
Join us for an engaging, hands-on Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques® (MAT) workshop where you’ll learn twelve of Erik Dalton’s most effective, evidence-informed routines for assessing and treating chronic pain and injury conditions. Each technique, part of Dalton’s renowned “Dirty Dozen,” is designed to help you work smarter, not harder, while producing faster, longer-lasting results for your clients.
Through a dynamic blend of lecture, demonstration, and partner practice, you’ll explore how to identify and correct common patterns of protective muscle guarding, joint fixation, and nerve entrapment that contribute to stubborn pain syndromes. You’ll discover practical ways to restore balance, improve posture, and reprogram the body’s nervous system for optimal movement efficiency and pain relief.
You will learn Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques® to assess and correct:
- Head, neck, and jaw pain
- Occipital neuralgia and tension headaches
- Thoracic outlet syndrome, arm pain, and tendinopathies
- Arm Pain & Tendinopathies
- Rib fixations and breathing dysfunction
- Low back, SI joint, and leg pain
- Piriformis syndrome, bursitis, and gluteal pain
- Sciatic, femoral, and cluneal nerve compression
- Plantar fasciitis and runner’s knee
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a complete toolkit of twelve time-tested routines that integrate joint mobilization, myofascial release, and nerve flossing strategies, each designed to reduce pain, improve range of motion, and enhance functional performance.
Whether you’re a seasoned therapist or new to Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, this course will deepen your understanding of the interplay between the nervous system and musculoskeletal health, elevate your hands-on skills, and reignite your passion for helping clients move pain-free.
Upgrade your skills, increase referrals and elevate your clients to a new state of health… the MAT way!
Our goal is to enhance your skills, improve your results, and build your practice to a level of excellence that goes beyond the standard expectation of what can be achieved through traditional bodywork training. Be prepared for outstanding results, even with long standing chronic conditions!
Upon successful completion of this workshop, you will earn CE hours for your bodywork licensure, recognized by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) and most State Licensing Boards. You will have also taken a step toward completing your Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT)® Certification.
