This is an 800-year-old medieval castle surrounded by private gardens and extensive parkland. Malahide Castle is located just 1.4 km from the Grand Hotel (the location of the training), which is a pleasant 20-minute walk or three minutes by car.

Erik Dalton


Erik Dalton serves as Executive Director of the Freedom From Pain Institute, a school dedicated to the study and treatment of chronic pain and movement disorders. He shares his wide therapeutic background in massage, Rolfing®, and osteopathy in his entertaining continuing education (CE) workshops, home study courses, books, and videos.

Erik is a lifetime member of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and Affiliate Faculty Member at Indiana State University’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. In addition to his busy teaching and writing endeavors, Dalton has managed to maintain a four-decade private manual therapy practice in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Aubrey Gowing

Aubrey teaches massage seminars throughout Europe, Australia and Asia. With 33 years clinical experience and 28 years of teaching, Aubrey brings a high standard of professionalism and considerable expertise to every training program he delivers. His seamless integration of multimedia technologies into his live presentations is a standout feature that makes for impactful learning and a truly memorable experience! In addition to teaching, Aubrey is a college director at Holistic College Dublin, the author of two books, the acclaimed 'Myoskeletal & Sports Therapy' and newly released 'Kinesiology Taping Strategies' and has served three terms as President of the Irish Massage Therapists Association. Workshop Cancellation:
If the Freedom from Pain Institute cancels or reschedules the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or changes in Covid requirements, you have the choice to transfer the registration fee to a future workshop within one year of the workshop date or receive a full refund of workshop fees. 

Registrant Cancellations:

  • Registrant cancellations up to 60 days before the first day of the workshop are refundable less a $50 administration fee, or we may transfer your registration fee as a credit towards another workshop within the period of one year.

  • Registrant cancellations made less than 30 days before the first day of the workshop will be charged the full fee of the workshop.
