Massage Therapy was a second career for me, after spending the first part of my adult life as an educator.

A Massage Therapy practice has allowed me to continue my own learning and to educate my clients for the past 22 years. I have studied with stalwarts like Whitney Lowe (Orthopedic Massage), John Upledger (CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation), Judith Walker-Delaney (Neuromuscular Therapy), Aaron Mattes (Active Isolated Stretching), Tom Myers (KMI), Gil Hedley and Tom Myers (Cadaver workshops), and James Waslaski (Orthopedic Massage).

I encountered Erik Dalton at the 3rd International Fascia Congress in Vancouver in 2012, and he encouraged me to buy his body of work. I hit gold! Erik is not just an extraordinarily talented teacher but an incredible human being who delivers warmth, encouragement, and non-judgement. His wonderful qualities of humor, self-deprecation, and humility make learning a real pleasure. He consistently credits the many masters he has learned from and never lets his ego get in the way.

This time of Covid has turned out to be something of a blessing in disguise. It has allowed me to really absorb all of the work that Erik continues to produce. His ongoing personal interest in our learning is evidenced by his regular emails that remind us to refresh our skills.

I work with clients spanning the gamut from ages 12-87, and Erik’s postural patterns and spring systems have been especially useful in my practice. They are the basis of the ingenuity of his remarkable contribution. My work is designed to restore balance, ease of movement, and a feeling of “fitting” into one’s skin, and to ease both acute and chronic pain.

My clients are delighted each year I head to Costa Rica for a winter workshop! Thank you, Erik and your wonderful team, especially Kim Miller who works quietly behind the scenes. Kim has been a constant and patient help through my study process. I am deeply grateful.
