In 2014 through other pioneer educators in the field, I heard of Erik Dalton. Soon I started following his You Tube channel and was impressed with his brain-based approach to posture, pain, and other evidence-informed therapies. As I began experimenting with his myoskeletal techniques, I was delighted with the results I was getting. Clients would come in and after just a couple of sessions they’d walk out of my office feeling better, moving better and were able to perform activities of daily life with less stress and more ease. My practice started to get busier and referrals increased.
So, In 2015 I attended my first live workshop and it changed my whole practice model and the way I approach pain and structural dysfunction. In 2019 after my third live workshop, I decided to finish the entire course and I only wish I had done it sooner!
I’ve been a therapist and fitness professional since 1997 and have taken many continuing education courses and by far Myoskeletal Therapy has been the most complete program I’ve encountered. It has made me more competent, confident and overall, a more skilled therapist. I am proud to be the first bodyworker in Massachusetts to receive their Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT) diploma.
Thank you Erik Dalton for developing such a practical and comprehensive hands-on modality for our profession. I am a life long learner and look forward to studying more with you. Proud to be an MMT!
