A Celebration of Teri’s Life

Teri was born Theresa Lynn Moses to Dorothy Jean Norris and Willard Dale Moses in Thomas, Oklahoma. She graduated Thomas High School in 1973 and was awarded “All-State French Horn” honors, but decided that music was not in her future. Instead, she enrolled at Oklahoma State University and pledged Chi Omega Sorority.

After college, she firmly set her roots in Oklahoma City. Much of her professional work tenure was spent with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority where she approached her work just as she did her life…with love and passion. While working full time, Teri earned a Master of Business Administrations (MBA) with honors from Oklahoma City University.

Following retirement from Oklahoma Health Care Authority, her life revolved around helping Erik develop his thriving Freedom From Pain Institute business. In the early days of the institute, she would edit Erik’s articles, ship books, and (reluctantly) model for his therapy videos. As the institute began employing more staff, Teri was able to kick-back and enjoy cracking jokes on the sidelines of Erik’s workshops, while enjoying quality time with him at their Costa Rica home.

In her personal life, Teri radiated creativity and joie de vivre. She treasured art, books, plants, clothing, jewelry, and mostly…her dogs. She proudly displayed eclectic collections of art, pottery, and her beloved classic novels, from floor to ceiling in their OKC apartment. However, Teri was most proud of her daughter and two granddaughters whom she enjoyed teasing and loving them fiercely.

Everyone who knew Teri would tell you she lit up a room…. always remembered for her infectious laughter and witty (naughty) humor.

Teri is survived by her husband of 34 years, Erik Dalton, her siblings – Steve Moses and Mary Ellen Partain, her daughter Adrienne Kesinger and her spouse Jason, and two granddaughters – Kathryn and Amy.

Teri was very involved in the Salvation Army.  If you woul like to donate in her name  she would love that …  Salvation Army Donation
