“Truly, Erik Dalton, you have given us the “gift”‘ that keeps on giving! I keep some of your books in my waiting room, (ok, sometimes I run a little over in my sessions if I feel I haven’t addressed someone’s issues as I would like before they get off the table,…..p.s. I don’t charge them anymore for the time!) & my clientelle waiting,… then know that they are in for a very different experience, other than the rubbie, rubbie, feel good massage. They absoloutley hate me when I attack their psoas issues, but LOVE me when they walk out pain free, better balanced in body & w/ a more functional gait. They start to understand & “get the picture” with your books in the waiting room for their perusal before their session. I get more repeat bookings & solid clientelle than I can keep up with!”

From an Amsterdam Therapist for the Dutch National Ballet:

I am a therapist for the Dutch National Ballet and have my practice in a physio/manual therapy clinic in Amsterdam which is probably the place in The Netherlands where professional dancers go for treatments. An example of how you greatly helped me is with the routine you present in the last DVD series regarding the specifics of working with the foot. I thought that I had gotten pretty good with it following a workshop a few years ago in Oakland, CA with Michael Salveson and Jan Sultan, but your presentation clarified quite a few things and added much specificity to what I remembered from their seminar.

Speaking of style, I really really enjoy the relaxed and congenial atmosphere that permeates your presentations; it is unique, refreshing, and such a welcome change after so many serious faces in lab coats. Not only that but it’s pretty rock’n roll and I mean this in the best way.

I wanted to send you a huge “thank you” for the fantastic service you did to those of us who work with pain conditions. I ran a session yesterday with a new client using almost nothing but techniques from your Spinal Engine program and it worked fantastically well. She is a young professional dancer and couldn’t believe how much better she felt after we were done (lower back/hips problems). She now thinks that I am the best thing since sliced bread but I know that I would not have done as good a job without your help.

Groetjes (dutch for greetings), Michel Dumonceau

My 9 y/o daughter has been recently dx. with scoliosis. Can you recommend a therapist particulary to work with scoliosis that we could work with to try to avoid progression without surgery? We are waiting for a referral to a pediatric orthopedic specialist, but fear that they will not be open to an alternative approach, based off of their website information. I am open to any advice. Your expertise is astounding. We live in Ohio, but am willing to travel if necessary.

Hello DoRae…. You are very right to seek help at this early age. There are a number of therapists in Ohio schooled in Myoskeletal Alignment. I would suggest that you contact a few and make sure that they have studied and understand the Myoskeletal treatment for scoliosis which is covered in the Upper Body Certification Course. http://erikdalton.com/state-therapists/ohio-therapists/
